Very bad customer service. Cashiers don't say anything to you, not even a simple greeting. When i was trying to pay with card, the card reader was having trouble with the chip. The cashier grabbed my card out of my hand. It was rude and off putting. They should have explained to customers what cards they take and whether their card readers were functioning normally.

People Supermarket is one of my favorite Chinese supermarkets in Sacramento. They have all the Chinese groceries and yummy hot foods available. The store is not very big, but big enough to carry all the items I want. The employees are super nice and ready to help with any questions or needs.

I only come here for the food court. I get the fried intestines because my brother loves it so much. It's delish, but you'd have to be into that sort of thing. Traffic is usually pretty steady. They have fresh meat options and nice looking produce.

Dear Sacramento Customers, This is the manager of People Supermarket. He acts like he is the most entitled person and doesn’t care about any customer. He is extremely disrespectful and doesn’t care about customers, especially the elderly. To prove this behavior, I have a video from the camera in the store as evidence. My mother has a disability and the employee in the photo told my mother to go to the last register, despite being the next person in line. The employee said she said #2 but my mother and I heard her say exactly #4. I walked to the employee and said we were in line first, but she didn’t care and let the person behind me go first. Regardless of what line, it’s inappropriate to tell the elderly to go to a different line after arriving and letting the person behind rush in front of me. It makes sense why the employees are rude, it’s because the guy who is the manager in the photo is very rude and the way he talks is demeaning to women.

This is one of the worst supermarket I ever shopped. The customer service is absolutely terrible and rude😡😡😡🤬🤬! The seafood department has no one employee to provide any services. Waited over 10 minutes and no one shows up. I have to seek out other employees to help but none offered to help🤬🤬! The meat department has 5 employees but everyone of them ignored you and when asked for services, they gave you the dirty looks like you brother them🤬🤬😡😡.
